It is hard to fail…

April 24, 2008

It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.
– Theodore Roosevelt –

So many people are too affraid to start anything. They think too much of what could go wrong… If you continue to think things over, the harder it will get to start, because you will find more reasons not to!

You are already halfway if you just show up! So, focus on the results and remember: be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it!

Enjoy every day,

Carl Van de Velde

April 24, 2008

Dus, Carl, I’ll be back 😉

Enjoy every day,

Happiness …

April 19, 2008

Happiness is when what you think,
what you say and what you do
are in harmony.
– Mahatma Gandhi –

This quote says it all! I am a happy guy 🙂

“People don’t say what they do. People don’t do what they say.” used to be a quote that I frequently tell people. It is astonishing how many people are in “hide-and-seek” mode, not living their full potential. I am also surprised by how few people are really in harmony, not only with themselves, but also with others around them.

What about you? Are you happy? Why not?
What do you need to “work” on? If it’s too hard, are you sure your thoughts are the right ones, because it should be easy and fun to find harmony!

Need any help with that? You know where to find me…

Enjoy every day,

Entrepreneur Business School?

April 17, 2008

Roger Hamilton’s Entrepreneur Business School (EBS) is one of the best events I have ever attended! Next to creating a magical atmosphere with world-class mentors, I connected with likeminded entrepreneurs from around the globe. These strangers at first became intimate friends for life. They share my passion to contribute to make this world a better place. On top of that, we experienced lots of fun, reflected on intimate, critical moments and learned an incredible number of lessons for life! Everyone wins at EBS! It’s definitely the next step forward in my life…

This is how my summary or quote if you like about EBS in Bali would sound like in case someone would ask me 🙂

I can recommend this event to every entrepreneur who is looking for an extra edge. It doesn’t matter if you are looking to grow your business or network, or need extra people, maybe a sounding board, target new countries or markets, it’s all there if you want to…

Next to the business stuff, this WOW-event made me grow as a person too! Magic happens at EBS! I’ll be back 🙂

Roger, you ROCK!

Enjoy every day,

To know and not to do…

April 12, 2008

To know and not to do,
is not yet to know!

– Buddhist proverb –

How true is this! I have been going to different courses, outstanding seminars, reading plenty of excellent books, but hardly touched the surface of all that knowledge… I am often very enthusiastic about the “stuff” I learned, but I must confess, almost never put it into practice. And I guess, I am not the only one 🙂

After a while I even forget about these valuable lessons and lives goes back to “normal”-mode. Are you experiencing the same thing? I bet you are! Prove me wrong…

Enjoy every day,

Entrepreneurs Business School in Bali?

April 1, 2008

Yes, I am in Singapore writing this blog…I am on my way to Bali for a well-deserved vacation and a very promising Entrepreneurs Business School (EBS) with Roger Hamilton. As an XL Life Member, this is definitely the place to be 🙂

I will be attending his 4-day program, not only to learn more about better business models, but also more importantly to network and create the foundations of a fruitful partnership(s) with entrepreneurs from around the world.

Of course, you are entitled to my feedback later on!

In the meantime, enjoy every day!
