Keep your businesscards impeccable!

Once and a while I am getting those wrapped, sloppy, warm businesscards (from the backpocket of the person I am talking to!). Yummie 😉

In some cultures a businesscard is like your resume, corporate image and even a personal token that you are offering the other person. On top of that, it is often the first impression of your company! So, it better be great, right?

Also in Asian countries, it is a habit to hand out your businesscard with two hands and make a bow towards the other person. A lot of western businessman don’t care or don’t know about this tradition and act really bullishly by doing so…

Anyway, my tip is to invest in a businesscardholder. You know, one of these :

Business Card Holder

This way your businesscards are being stored in a decent way. Also if you choose for a metal version and you put it in your backpocket, your ass will hurt instead of bending the cards 😉

Now, if you really want to impress people, order your own businesscard holders!

You can even engrave your logo (or baseline or name or…) on it and hand them out to your employees or even to customers as a business gift. If they are using your businesscard holder, they are advertising your company!

Anyway, it works for me, so it should work for you too 😉

Enjoy every day,

Bert

  1. I agree! The business cards holder that recently saw is the Pac Man one.http://www.walyou.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/pacman-arcade-game-busienss-card-holder.jpg. I know it doesn’t look professional, its a cool case and creative.
